Workspace

Framework ECM's workspace is flexible, uses a modern Multiple Document Interface (MDI), and gives you several options to work the way that you want.

The user interface consists of the following major regions:

• Top: The top of the Framework ECM interface is the default location for the menu system, toolbar icons, and the context bar.
• Left: The left of the Framework ECM interface contains the sidebar which is used to navigate to the most often used screens.
• Main: The main window in the middle of the screen is the default location for all of the screens. Selecting any screen from the sidebar, toolbar, context bar, or menu system will change the main window which is used to enter the vast majority of the content.
• Bottom: The bottom area of the Framework ECM interface contains the status bar and is the default location for standard information about the current system.
