Menus

Menus

The interface includes a menu bar that sits at the very top of the screen above the toolbar icons. Whilst the sidebar and toolbar icons contain links to the most commonly used screens, the menu system contains links to every screen in the application.

The following image is the default menu for the Production Management module. Each Framework ECM module will differ slightly from the following menu. 


Menu Option

Description

Module

Opens the Framework Explorer dialog. Selecting this option allows users to change to a different Framework ECM module.

New

Opens the New Client dialog.

Import and Export...

Opens the Import/Export dialog

Specific requirements are required for Importing. Please contact Insula Software for further information.

Select

Select a job. Opens the Select Job dialog.

Search

Search for a job. Opens the Search dialog.

Print

If context sensitive reports are available from the current screen, opens the Reports dialog.

Print Preview

If context sensitive reports are available from the current screen, opens the Reports dialog.

Print Setup

Opens the Microsoft Windows Print Setup dialog.

Reports

Opens the Reports screen.

Database Tools

Opens the Database Tools screen.

User OptionsOpens the User Options dialog.  This is for the creation of elements for the logged in User, such as Email Signatures.

Log On/Off

Log on or off the system.

Exit

Exits the system.

Menu Option

Description

Cut

Cut the selected text.

Copy

Copy the selected text.

Paste

Paste the selected text.

Edit

Change the screen from View mode to Edit mode.

Close

The screen will be closed.

Apply

Changes made on the screen will be saved. The screen will remain in Edit mode.

View Item

Click to view an item.

New Item

Click to create a new item.

Edit Item

Click to edit an item.

Delete Item

Click to delete an item.

Set Primary

Click to set a list item as the primary item.

Spelling

Click to perform a spell check.

Menu Option

Description

Go Back

Click to return to the previously viewed screen.

Refresh

Click to refresh the on-screen data.

Re-Read and Refresh

Click to re-read and refresh the on-screen data.

Filter

Opens the Filter dialog (see Filter Dialog).

Toolbars

Click to show/hide the toolbars.

Context Bar

Click to show/hide the context bar.

Sidebar

Click to show/hide the sidebar.

Status Bar

Click to show/hide the status bar.

Set Default Screen

Click to select the currently selected screen as the Default landing screen when logging in. This is the default for the currently logged in user.

Show Hidden Modules

Click to show side bar modules that are set to be hidden by preferences.

Note : this will only be applied during the current session.

Opens the user guide.

Additional Guides

Opens the additional help guide.

Release Notes

Opens the release notes.

Configuration

Opens the System Configuration dialog. This dialog contains basic settings about the Framework ECM system settings for the local computer.

Technical Support

Opens the Technical Support dialog. This dialog displays information about your local support person.

Remote Support (Local Team Viewer)

Launches a Team Viewer Quick Support window. When in contact with an Insula Support Representative, the unique code generated in this screen allows Insula to connect and assist.

Remote Support (Online Options)

Launches Insula Software's online support page.

Provide Feedback

Opens an email to support@insulagroup.com.au. This allows you to provide feedback about the software.

Framework Website

Opens the product's official website (www.frameworkecm.com.au).

Insula Software Website

Opens Insula Software's website (www.insulagroup.com.au).

About Framework

Opens the About dialog.
