Welcome to the Framework Product Suite Installation and Upgrade Guide.

Organisation of the Guide

This document serves as a manual for upgrade installations of the Framework Product Suite. It makes as few assumptions as possible about your level of expertise. However, it is expected that you have a general understanding of Microsoft Operating Systems such as Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Server (if installing in a server environment).

In general, this manual is arranged in a linear fashion, beginning with system requirements, relevant before-you-begin topics, pre-requisite checklists, environment discussions, the Framework Product Suite upgrade, and finally post-upgrade operations.

Critical

Upgrade to 7.1.1 is a two-step process.  Please see Upgrade Sequence to 7.1.1.


For the Framework Product Suite multiple applications can reference a single database. There are four database upgrades;
