Searching & Selecting

Select Job

The Select Job dialog allows users in Production Management to enter a known job number for quick selection. Should the required job not be found, the Search button can be clicked to open the Search dialog for a more detailed search.

Searching

The Search dialog allows users to search for a client using a number of search criteria. Change the search criteria if the required client is not found.

All search criteria is case insensitive.

Performing A Search

  1. From the File menu, select Search. The Search dialog will be displayed.
  2. Enter the search criteria.
  3. Click Search.
  4. From the Search Results list, select an item.
  5. Click OK. The Search dialog will close and the selected client will be displayed in the context bar.

Search Buttons

The Search dialog contains a number of popup buttons.

If users access a client from a different region/division, the user is logged out of the current one and into the second region/division. The status bar at the bottom of the screen displays your current region/division.

Description

Click to return all search criteria to default.

Click to remove all entered search criteria.

Click to populate the Search Results list based on the entered criteria.

After highlighting a client in the Search Results list, click OK to select that client. The Context Bar will update with the new client's details.

Click to close the Search dialog.

The Search dialog will vary depending on whether it is being used in Production, Client Management or Land Management.

Search Dialog - Job Tab

The Job tab is used to search for and select jobs and/or clients in the Production Management module of Framework ECM.

The most recent search criteria selections entered by a user remain until the system is exited.

Clicking  allows users to search anywhere within a field. The icon changes to  when selected.

Example

 If using the search within a field function, typing the letters th into the Client Name field will return results such as Matheson, Smith, Thuan, etc.

Contact Surname

Search using the contact surname.

Street Name

Search using the street name.

Lot No./Street No.

Lot No.: Search using the lot number.

Street No.: Search using the street number.

Suburb

Search using the suburb.

Estate/Stage

Estate: Search using the estate.

Stage: Search using the current stage.

House Type

Search using the house type.

Job Number

Search using the job number.

Select Criteria/Sort Order Group

Field

Description

Job Status

Filter the search results by ticking the required job status options. Standard selections include:

  • Active
  • Cancelled
  • Hold
  • Deleted
  • Pending Cancellation
  • Inactive

Job Stage

Filter the search results by ticking the required job stage options. Standard selections include: 

  • Pre-Administration
  • Administration
  • Construction
  • Maintenance

All Region/Divs.

Filter the search results by ticking to include all regions/divisions.

Selecting a job from the Search Results list that is from a different region/division will automatically transfer the user to the region/division of the selected job.

Team

Filter the search results by selecting a team.

The Search Results list can be sorted by clicking a column header.

Client Name

Name of the client for the returned result.

Job Address

Address of the job for the returned result.

Region/Div

Region/division to which the returned result belongs.

Team

Team associated with the returned result.

Major Stage

Major stage of the job for the returned result.

Minor Stage

Minor stage of the job for the returned result.

Status

Status of the job for the returned result.

Search Dialog - Recent Jobs Tab

The Recent Jobs tab provides users with quick access to the last twenty jobs accessed by the user. This tab is only available in the Production Management module of Framework ECM.

The most recent search criteria selections entered by a user remain until the system is exited.

The Client tab is used to search for and select clients in the Client and Contact Management module of Framework ECM.

Enter Name/Number/Contact Surname Group

Field

Description

Client Name

Search using the client name.

Client Number

Search using the client number.

Contact Surname

Search using the contact surname.

Street Name

Search using the client address.

Client Status

Filter the search results by ticking the required client status options. Standard selections include: 

  • Active

Search Dialog - Land Tab

The Land tab is used to search for and select land in the Land Management module of Framework ECM.

Description

Street Name

Search using the street name.

Lot Number

Search using the lot number.

Suburb

Search using the suburb.

Municipality

Search using the municipality.

Estate

Search using the estate.

Control Type

Filter the search results by ticking the required control type options. Standard selections include: 

  • Enterprise Land
  • Client Land

Allocation

Filter the search results by ticking the required allocation options. Standard selections include: 

  • Unallocated
  • Allocated To File

Availability

Filter the search results by ticking the required availability options. Standard selections include: 

  • Available For Sale
  • Unavailable

All Region/Divs.

Filter the search results by ticking to include all regions/divisions.

The Search Results list can be sorted by clicking a column header.

Description

Land Address

Address of the land for the returned result.

Region/Div

Region/division to which the returned result belongs.

The land is not linked to a region/division until it is allocated to a job, therefore theRegion/Division field will not always contain data.

Estate

Estate to which the returned result belongs.

Avail.

Available status for the returned result.

File

Number of files associated to the returned result.

The File Number field will be blank if the Land is not allocated to a job.

Job

Number of the job for the returned search result.

The Job Number field will be blank if the land is not allocated to a job.

Client Name

Name of the client for the returned result.

The Client Name field will be blank if the land is not allocated to a job.
