Configuring A Logistics Site
- Devices that run Logistics Tablet should be thought of as Logistics Sites
- These instructions outline the setup of a Logistics site that is able to sync with the Framework ECM Database.
- Open Framework Logistics Desktop
- Navigate to Site>Logistics Site
- Select an empty slot and click Edit.
- Give the site a Name typically, this would be the name of the user.
- Select the Staff member that will be allocated to the site and their role.
- Provide the Hostname of the Device that will be allocated to this site.
- Set the Criteria Method. This will usually be Construction Manager or Construction Supervisor, The Criteria Value will be their name selected from the list.
- Click the Connection tab.
- Specify the Host Server which will be the name of the server that holds the Framework ECM Database, as well as the Fwork ECM DSN name and a TCP/IP Port for this connection if it is anything other than the standard.
- Launching the Logistics Tablet software on your device should now prompt you to perform a Sync and configure the device as a Logistics Site.
