Logistics Site
The Logistics Site screen displays a list of all the Framework Logistics Tablet sites.
Procedures
Configuring A Logistics Site
In order for a logistics site to have accurate communication with the system, it must be configured so that it can be recognised when synchronisation is performed.
- From the Logistics Site list, select a logistics site.
- The General tab of the Logistics Site dialog will be displayed.
- Enter the details.
- Select the Connection tab.
- Enter the connection details.
- Select the Synchronise tab.
- Enter the synchronise details.
- Click OK. The dialog will close and the logistics site will be configured.

This dialog is used to capture the core information for a logistics site.

The General tab is used to record key information and settings for a logistics site.
Framework Site Group
Field | Description |
---|---|
Name | Descriptive name of the Tablet PC. |
Reference | Reference name of the Tablet PC. |
Site Type | This field/function is currently disabled. This field is locked and cannot be edited. |
Configuration Group
Field | Description |
---|---|
Staff Member | Staff member who will use the Tablet PC. Click the Staff Member popup button to select. |
Role | Role of the staff member. Click the Role popup button to select. This is typically a Construction Manager or Construction Supervisor. |
Host Computer Group
Field | Description |

Name/IP Address | IP address or name of the Tablet PC. |
Job Allocation Group
Field | Description |
---|---|
Criteria Method | Criteria that the tablet will receive. Click the Criteria Method drop-down list to select. |
Criteria Value | Selected criteria method's criteria value. Click the Criteria Value drop-down list to select. |

The Connection tab is used to record key information about connections to the logistics site.
Internet Connection Group
Field | Description |
---|---|
Required? | Are internet connection details required? Toggle: Yes/No |
Confirmation Host | Framework SQL Server's IP address. |
DUN Connection | Dial-Up Networking (DUN) Connection details. |
Timeout (seconds) | Length of time before the software registers a failure for Internet timeout. Typically 10 seconds. |
VPN Connection Group
Field | Description |

Required? | Are VPN connection details required? Toggle: Yes/No |
Confirmation Host | Framework SQL Server's IP address. |

Date | Date of the last synchronisation. |
Time | Time of the last synchronisation. |
Local IP Address | Local IP address of the Tablet PC. |
Public IP Address | Public IP address of the Tablet PC. |
Successful? | Was the last synchronise successful? Toggle: Yes/No |
