How to - Contract Overview

The Contract Overview screen allows you to view a snapshot of the current progress of the contract, and to set-up direct debit information and penalty clauses should a contract payment be late.

General
Lists basic details about the contract, including application and contract numbers, contract stage, and status. The contract number can be modified.
The Contract # field is the same field labelled Account Number on the Application Overview screen. If searching for a contract number on the Search dialog, set the Advanced Search drop-down list to Account/Contract Number.
Contract Details
Displays basic repayment information for the application. Pressing the Contract Details jump button will open the standard Application Calculations screen.
Work Flow
Relevant work-flow dates for the contract are displayed. To cancel a contract, enter a date into the Cancelled field. To see all work-flow dates press the Work Flow jump button .
PPSR
You can enter the PPSR information against the goods record by double clicking it and then select the PPSR tab.
The PPSR tab is used to enter the date the goods were registered and the registration numbers. The contents for the following fields are available once an asset has been registered on the
The Grantor Name and Grantor A.C.N fields default to the client. The Secured Party Name field defaults to the Loan Book financier.
Payment Details
This section details the number and value of payments that are paid, due and not currently due. This includes any penalty amounts.
- The Paid column is the sum of the Amount field in the Paid group of the Revenue dialog and not the total of the revenue. A variance between the two is possible.
- The Due column is the sum of the revenue total.
Next Repayment
This section shows details of the next payment and when it is due. The Status show's whether the payment is Not Due, Due or Over Due.
Revenue - Late Payment Fee
This section allows you to specify whether fees will be charged when a loan payment is late. Payments can be Calculated on a Per Payment or Daily basis.
Revenue - Penalty Interest
This section allows you to specify whether Penalty Interest will be applied to late payments. This can be Calculated on a Per Payment or Daily basis.
Revenue - Payout Discount
This section allows you to specify whether a discount will be applied when a loan is paid out early.
Direct Debit
This section allows you to enter the Direct Debit information set up for the loan. You must define the bank details in the Client \ Accounts screen.
