BuilderMT WMS PO Integration - Installation
Any workstation or server that is to perform integration must first be installed with all the required software to access and operate the respective systems (including Framework ECM).
Ensure BuilderMT WMS is installed and working on the server/workstation. For detailed instructions for installing and configuring BuilderMT WMS, please see the relevant BuilderMT WMS installation product manuals.
Framework Integration
For detailed instructions on installing Framework Integration , refer to the Framework Product Suite installation guide.
In brief, the installation of the following is required:
- Microsoft SQL Server 2005 / 2008.
- Insula Software Core Components
- DSN configurations for:
- Framework (FworkSQLEcm)
- Framework Licence (FworkSQLLic)
Framework Logistics Desktop
After Framework Integration has been installed, install the Framework Logistics Desktop software.
This software is available from:
- \\[fw folder]\Setup\
Licence Installation
The Framework ECM licence hardware key must be updated to allow access to Framework Logistics Desktop. This is done by requesting a licence key update from Insula Software. Refer to the Licence Key Update procedure in the Framework Product Suite installation guide.
The following licence is required to be installed and activated on the database server. This can only be done by Insula Software and will be completed as a part of purchasing Framework Integration .

BuilderMT WMS Database DSN Installation
For Framework Integration to read information from BuilderMT WMS, an ODBC Data Source Name (DSN) connection to the BuilderMT WMS database is required.
Setting Up BuilderMT WMS ODBC DSN
- Open Data Sources (ODBC) (Start > Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Data Sources (ODBC). The ODBC Data Source Administrator dialog will be displayed.
- Select the System DSN tab.
- Click Add. The Create New Data Source dialog will be displayed.
- Select Firebird ODBC.
- Click OK. The FireBird ODBC Setup dialog will be displayed.
- Enter the required Data Source Name (DSN).
- Enter the database location in the Database field.
- Enter the required Database Account. From the Analysis, this is the WMS Security User Account Username response.
- Enter the required Password. From the Analysis, this is the WMS Security User Account Password response.
- Click OK.
