Job Allocation
The Job Allocation screen is used to allocate Framework ECM jobs to a specific logistics site on a Tablet PC. The Job Allocation screen also allows any managers to view all of the allocated jobs for a given logistics site.
Procedures
Supervisor allocation to a job may be done by assigning the correct entity to the job in Framework.
Re-Stamping An Allocation's Audit Date
Re-stamping a logistics site will re-allocate jobs to a selected site.
- From the Site drop-down list, select a logistics site.
- Click Re-Stamp Audit. The Re-Stamp Audit Data confirmation prompt will appear.
- Click the Yes button to re-stamp the audit data.
Allocating A Job To A Logistics Site
Allocating a job to a logistics site will allow a Framework Logistics Tablet user to view a job's details.
- From the Site drop-down list, select a logistics site.
- Click Allocate. The Allocate Job(s) confirmation prompt will appear.
- Click Yes to add a single, known job. The Select Job dialog will be displayed.
OR
Click No to automatically allocate jobs based on the site's allocation criteria. - Enter the details.
- Click OK. The dialog will close and the job will appear in the Jobs list.
Removing Jobs From A Logistics Site
The Clean Up button is used to reset a logistics site's jobs to the job allocation selections. This function might be used if the construction supervisor changes or if a job is appearing on a logistics site that should no longer be listed.
- From the Site drop-down list, select a logistics site.
- Click Clean Up. The Clean Up Site Job Allocations confirmation prompt will appear.
OR
From the Jobs list, select a job and click Delete. This will remove a single job from a logistics site. - Click Yes to remove any jobs from the logistics site that do not match the logistics site's job allocation selections.
