Overview

A change has been made to allow date range selection on the diary screen.
This allows greater visibility on approaching tasks across a supervisor's jobs.

Functionality Delivered

IMPORTANT: The filtering on the diary screen is driven by the manual or best possible forecast called date.
For an activity to be shown, the best possible/manual forecast called date must appear in the date range.

A new popup action is available, that can allow for a greater selection of dates (i.e., not just a single date).

There are several presets:

  • Today

  • Tomorrow

  • This Week

    • Any date from Monday - Sunday, in reference to the current week

  • Two Weeks

    • Any date from Monday - Sunday, for the current week + 1 week

    • This would display 14 total days from the Monday of the current week

  • Three Weeks

    • Any date from Monday - Sunday, for the current week + 2 weeks

    • This would display 21 total days from the Monday of the current week

  • Four Weeks

    • Any date from Monday - Sunday, for the current week + 3 weeks

    • This would display 28 total days from the Monday of the current week

  • Custom (uses the Custom Date Range fields)

    • Manual input of a desired date range

Note: The week filters can display overdue tasks as the current week considers tasks from Monday.
This does not require the Overdue filter to be selected.

After making a selection, press OK to apply the filter changes.

The “date” will also be updated in reference to your selected filter.

To apply a custom date range, select the Custom filter, and tap in the From and To dates.
This will open the calendar and allow you to select your custom dates.

To revert back to the single date selection, you can press the X button next to the popup.
This will return to the current-day view.
