Synchronisation Times

Synchroinisation times are now much shorter. Previously the reconciliation of each table was an exhaustive process in that the process involved stepping through every record at each end - tablet and office - and comparing each to identify records on the tablet that were no longer in the office and marking them for deletion - and then deleting them. This was very time consuming, especially for tables with many records, such as tel, crm_com, doc_item and spec_row etc.

We have now improved this process dramatically by making this process an incremental reconciliation, so that each time it is performed now it is only considering deletions that have ocurred since the last time that table/packet was synced.

Logistics Activity Colour Coding

The colour coding of construction activities has been introduced in Construction Logistics.

Colour coding allows a builder to attach specific meaning to construction activities, and for this to be visible to all users across all Framework Logistics applications.
eg. You may wish to nominate and visually separate activities that are to be updated by supervisors in the field or by office-based staff.

Bulk Rescheduling

Previously when a user rescheduled an activity firstly an email would be sent to call it off and then another email would be sent to call it up for the new date.

This often meant that suppliers would be overloaded with emails calling off and calling up activities. The process has been simplified with enhancements to the Reschedule option which now only uses one email to reschedule the activity.

“Shift” Reschedule

There is a new way to reschedule items in bulk, when the selected activities are to be moved (or "shifted") by the same number of days, preserving the number of days between them, without having to manually change every activity.

The SupplierConnect functionality for Framework has been reworked, and the on-premise web portal functionality has been deprecated.

We have added new content called Entity Resource. These are the teams, gangs, people, etc. under a supplier that are specifically allocated work (Logistics items/activities).

Logistics Auto Sync

This is a new feature for Logistics Tablet whereby the Daily Upload sync can now run automatically, on behalf of the tablet user, on a timer.

Two new Framework preferences configure the behaviour:

50455: Enable Auto Sync ?
Controls whether the feature is enabled (or not)

50456: Auto Sync Interval (mins)
Allows the minutes in between auto Daily Upload syncs to be specified (in minutes with a minimum allowed value of 10 minutes)

Logistics Diary Date Range			The date display/selection has been changed. The display shows a single date (when only one date is selected) or a date range when more than one is selected. Preset buttons/options that can set the date quickly are provided for: - Today (this is the default, shows a single day, and is what we have currently). Tomorrow - This Week When the current day is a Monday to Saturday: all activities from Monday to Sunday. are shown, for the current week you're in.
