MYOB Accounts Receivable Integration - Installation
Any workstation or server that is to perform integration must first be installed with all of the required software to access and operate the respective systems (including Framework ECM).
Ensure MYOB is installed and working on the server/workstation. For detailed instructions for installing and configuring MYOB, please see the relevant MYOB installation product manuals.
Framework Integration

In brief, the installation of the following is required:
- Microsoft SQL Server 2005 / 2008
- Insula Core Components
- Data Source Name (DSN) configurations for:
- Framework ECM (FworkSQLEcm)
- Framework Licence (FworkSQLLic)
- MYOB System (MYOB ODBC)
Licence Installation
The following licence is required to be installed and activated on the database server. This can only be done by Insula Software and will be completed as a part of purchasing Framework Integration.

MYOB Job DSN Installation
For Framework Integration to read information from MYOB, an ODBC DSN connection to the MYOB Accounts Receivable database is required.
- Open Data Sources (ODBC) (Start > Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Data Sources (ODBC)). The ODBC Data Source Administrator dialog will be displayed.
- Select the System DSN tab.
- Click Add. The Create New Data Source dialog will be displayed.
- Select MYOAU1001 (or the most recent available).
- Click Finish. The Create a New Data Source to SQL Server dialog will be displayed.
- Enter a name and description.
- Select or enter a company path file and enter the administrator user name and password.
- Under the Developer Access section, tick Enable.
- Under the Developer Access section in the AccountRight Application field, select or enter the location of the myobp.exe file.
- Set the File Access option.
- Select or enter the location for the Insula Software supplied developer key file.
- If successful, click OK. The ODBC Setup Configuration dialog will close.
- Click OK. The ODBC Data Source Administrator dialog will close.
