Entity Dialog

The Entity dialog is used to manage details about a Contact or Supplier. The types available are:

  • Person

  • Corporation

  • Name Only

  • Distribution Group.

This dialog is used for Client Contacts in the Production Module, or Entity Management in the Administration Module or the Administration application.

Person Details Dialog

This dialog is used to manage individual details about a person, such as names, contact details, notification settings, and the role(s) of the person.

Entering information for Primary Address and Contact Details creates Address and Telephone records, available for further detail in the Address and Telephone tabs.

The Profile tab displays settings for notification and contact preferences. To be able to send an Email or SMS from other areas of the system, such as CRM Comments, Supplier Notifications, or Batch Claims the settings must be updated here.

The Perspective Platform Contact ID shows the GUID that represents the entity’s authorised access to the Perspective Platform.

The Address tab is used to manage postal and street address details for the person.

To create an address in this tab, click the New Item button on the toolbar to launch the Address dialog.

Based on selections for the Description and Format, different combinations of fields will be available.

The Telephone tab is used to manage telephone numbers for the person. Email addresses are also managed on this tab.

The Roles tab is used to manage the entity roles allocated to the person. Multiple roles can be assigned to a person.

An entity role refers to the function performed or maintained by an entity. It determines where in the system an entity can be selected.

The Image tab is used to store an image for the person.

The Rotate Image button is used to ensure the imported image is the correct orientation.

The Integration tab is used to manage links for the Contact or Supplier for Framework Integration.

Company Details Dialog

The General tab is used to manage general legal information about the company, such as name, business registration details, and Primary Contact Details.

The Contact tab is used to manage contacts for the company. For an external company entity, this is typically a list of frequently contacted staff members.
