Updating RMS Default Values

By following the steps below, you can update the default values that appear in some fields within Framework, in this example we are changing the default value that appears in the Service Period Duration (Days) on the Maintenance Overview Screen.

Please note that the change will only apply for jobs created after it is made.



  1. Open Framework Administration (Program)

  2. Navigate to RMS>Field Context




  3. Under RMS Table, select the table in which this field resides. (In this case, Maint)






  4. Under RMS Field Contextselect the field you wish to change and click Edit. (In this case, Service Duration (Calendar Days)





  5. Navigate to the Default Values tab and click New.



  6. Enter the Region/Division you wish to apply the change to as well as the default value you wish to display, press OK.
