Synchronising the Variation Price Book in SAM

Recommendation: Ensure all users have exit from Sales Advice (SAM) before performing Synchronisations

When making changes in the Variation Price Book (VPB) and/or creating a new VPB in Framework you must ensure a Synchronise is performed in Sales Advice in order for the changes to be available for SAM users.

Note: The VPB should be compiled and finalised prior to continuing. 

Open the Sales Advice Module:

1. Click on File and then LAN Sync.

2. Click on the VPB tab.

TO ADD A NEW VPB TO SAM

1. Click on the VPB Version you wish to add under the Framework section.

2. Click on the arrow (to the left), this will push the VPB version into SAM.

Note: The VPB will now be available for SAM users.

TO UPDATE AN EXISTING VPB IN SAM

1. Select the current version of the VPB located under the Sales Advice heading as this needs to be deleted in order to bring across an updated version.

2. Click 

    to delete the current version.

3. Click on the VPB Version you wish to add under the Framework section.

4. Click on the arrow (to the left), this will push the VPB version into SAM.

Note: The VPB will now be available for SAM users.
