Variation Price Book - Sample Table of Contents

This sample is to be used as a guide for builders implementing a Framework Variation Price Book (VPB).

This lists a sample Table of Contents (TOC) structure to convey the scope and potential layout of a VPB.

The TOC is not necessarily complete or exhaustive, and terminology will differ between builders and geographic areas (eg. different states).

Recommendations

Sections should have consistent subsections for instructional information such as Notes, Procedures, Policies, etc.
Use a Miscellaneous section at the end of sections to group orphan or many unrelated items.
Where multiple divisions/companies/offices are supported in a single book, use subsections to organise common items, and then the specific division requirements:
