Enhancements to structured inspections

The functionality of structured inspections has been enhanced with the following new features.

On the Inspection Template screen, there is a new accordion that lists any related organisations.

This means you can create a template and share it so that the related organisation can use it within their inspections. There are 3 options;

  1. Not Shared - default.

  2. Shared ownership - Releated organisations can make changes.

  3. Shared as read-only - Related organisations can only use the template and not make any changes.

The Submission Details accordion now allows you to define additional signatures required to sign off an inspection.

When in Edit mode you can add the required signatures;

The Authority Role is a free text entry and not a standard platform role. If Is Mandatory is ticked then the signature must be supplied.

You can now make the user accepts a set of terms and conditions when submitting an inspection.

If the Terms and Conditions are Required? checkbox is ticked the user can specify the message and a URL that points to the terms and conditions that you want the user to read and acknowledge.

There are 3 new Response Type’s

- Date - The user must enter a date. This defaults to the current date.
- Time - The user must enter a time. This defaults to the current time.
- Date/Time - The user must enter a date and time. This defaults to the current date and time.

There is a new option within the Submission Details accordion of a structured inspection template.

If ticked, when submitted all items on the inspection and the inspection itself will set to the workflow stage of Complete.

Previously you could only clone published template. You can now clone a template that has not been published.

When adding items to an inspection, you can specify whether either notes or photos are required.

You can also set this requirement against your own Response Group items.

There is a new option under Administration, Response Groups.
