Framework Upgrade : Post Upgrade Procedures

Once the upgrade of the Framework Product Suite has been successfully completed, the following post upgrade procedures must be performed:


Update Other Applications

Update any other applications that reference the upgraded databases

Enable Scheduled Tasks

Enable any scheduled tasks that may reference any Framework Product Suite database(s), such as: 

  • Server Backups
  • Framework Logistics Tablet Synchronisation
  • Framework Logistics Desktop Subscription Manager
  • Microsoft SQL Server Data Transformation Services (DTS)
  • Crystal Reports Server
  • Automatic Server Restarts
Enable Systems Integration

Enable any systems integration tasks that may have referred to any Framework Product Suite database(s).

  • Framework Systems Integration
  • Third Party Systems Integration
Advise StaffAdvise your staff that the Framework Product Suite software has been upgraded and that the user guide and release notes are available from the application's Help menu.
