ECM - Managing ECM Schedule Requests
Article index
Overview
In Framework v8, Logistics SupplierConnect Notifications (eg. call-ups, rescheduling, call-offs, etc.) are now called “Schedule Requests”.
SupplierConnect notifications were previously sent via the Framework Cloud Gateway as emails. They are now queued and sent via Framework Cloud.
Schedule Request Outbox
A new user interface (UI) icon has been added to give an overview of the Schedule Request Outbox, and visibility of requests and their status.
From the Framework ECM Production Module, a new icon has been added to the status bar (bottom of the application), alongside the Cloud Connector Status button.
Note: The icon will flash Red if there are any issues and will continue to flash until the issues are dismissed.
Double click the Outbox - Schedule Requests icon to raise the Outbox dialog.
Note: This dialog can only be opened when a screen is NOT in edit mode.
Issues with successfully sending Schedule Requests may occur from time to time. Examples may include invalid email addresses, connectivity issues etc. Office teams using Framework ECM will be able to acknowledge/remove any requests in the Outbox which may not be able to be sent. This will help office teams keep track of any items that need to be re-issued as well as give visibility of any potential issues that may need to be raised with internal IT teams.
This dialog will also allow users to see items ‘To Send’ (i.e. Pending items), as well as items that have already been sent successfully.
Filtering Schedule Requests
Additional filters are available to assist in showing different content.
The base filter applied is All jobs, To Dismiss.
Filter Options:

All Jobs
Current Job (as indicated by the context bar in Framework)

Sent
To Dismiss
Dismissed
After a selection is made or adjusted, you must press the Refresh button for the results to appear.
Dismissing Schedule Requests
From the dialog, double left-click on the Dismiss column (red X icon) or select the Dismiss button from the top of the dialog.
Note: The Dismiss action is specific to the Schedule Request row selected.
Press ‘Yes’ to finish Dismissing the item, to remove it from the Outbox. This will set the status of the schedule request to ‘Dismissed’ and can be viewed again by selecting this filter.
Note: Your call forward will update for the dismissed notification, and the icon that will appear next to the task will be a yellow exclamation mark (Issue Status), in place of the existing notification status.

If required, the Schedule Request can be attempted again once the cause of the original issue has been resolved.
Navigating to Jobs/Activities
From the Schedule Requests dialog, tapping on the Job# for the desired schedule request will open that job, and take you directly to the call forward item (via the Logistics screen), so that you can issue new notifications.
Note: This quick-jump only applies where you are not already on the Logistics screen.
Email Monitoring with Perspective Gateway
All communications (ie. email, SMS, notifications, etc.) from Framework applications are sent via the Framework Cloud solution.
IT Support teams can monitor the status of sent communications via the Perspective Gateway Portal.
Please contact Insula Support for the correct URL for your Gateway Portal and the Contact Roles required to use it.
