Accessing and Exiting The Finance Shop

• Click Start > Programs > Insula Software > The Finance Shop. TFS will now open and the log on screen will be displayed.
• Double-click The Finance Shop

When opening TFS, the Security Log On dialog will automatically appear.

OR

From the File menu, select Log On/Off. The Security Log On dialog will be displayed.

When you have correctly entered the User Name and Password that you have been supplied things on of two things will happen.

1. If your TFS system only has a single Context it will log on.
2. If you have more than one Context within your TFS system the Security dialog will expand to 

Click on the drop down selector to choose the required Context.

  When you have selected the Context click the OK button to log on.

It is recommended that the password be changed on a regular basis.

1. On the Security Log On dialog, click the Change button.
2. Enter the current User Name and password.
   
   
   
   
3. Enter the new password.
4. Confirm the new password by entering it again.
5. Click the OK button. The password has now changed.

The Log Off command is used when the computer is to be left for a short period of time, such as attending a meeting or going to lunch. When The Finance Shop has been logged off, all current components are still running, but cannot be accessed until a user has logged on again.

How To Log Off

• From the File menu, select Log On/Off.

OR

• Press the F12 key.

The Exit command is used to close TFS. As all information is saved during system operation there is no confirmation to save information.

To Exit TFS choose one of the following;

• From the File menu, select Exit.
• Click the Close button ().
• Press ALT + F4.
