DMS - Generic Objects

A Document Structure is always created around a particular type of 'thing' (or object) that all documents in the structure relate to. You can search for and edit Objects.

When you click on the hyperlink in the Name column, the Objects details will be displayed, and you can edit the basic information.

If an Object is no longer required, you can 'Archive' it. It will not be deleted and will only be searchable if you select the include archived option.

If you click on Browse a search for the object's documents is performed.
