Updating Claims Email Template


The below guide can be used to alter the email template that is sent with the batch claims function within Framework ECM.

Step-by-step guide

Open up Framework Administration (standalone application - not through ECM)

  1. Navigate to communication → System email

  2. Change the category from the drop down to Claims Emailing

  3. Select the relevant email and email template

  4. Edit the template to change what is contained in the email

This supports HTML - so there is the possibility to play around with different text types, colours and bold/underlined/italicised text.

Once you have edited this email template, you can change the text which you would like to remain constant (i.e. hard-coded/static). You can also add in fields using the 'Insert Field' feature, which will then populate this information from relevant locations in Framework once the email is sent.
