Christmas Period Preparation
To ensure accuracy in construction reporting, forecasting, labour allocation, etc. Framework system administrators are reminded to implement important calendar updates for the upcoming Christmas closedown period.
For all Framework users, update the Framework Calendar with public holidays and close down periods for the coming year.
After implementing calendar updates, Construction Logistics supervisors must be advised to do an Office Data synchronise on their Tablet PC. For users of legacy construction chart reporting (ie. non-Logistics users), update Framework with non-construction periods (chart weeks) for this year's closedown period.

Configuring Close Down Periods In Framework Calendar
Open Framework Administration
Navigate to Diary>Calendar
Select the applicable year under Years, Select the relevant half of the year under Half and then select the relevant month under Months.
Click the day you wish to edit under Weeks/Days and then click Edit.
Click the ellipsis next to Non-possible Reason and select the applicable reason from the list. In this case it will be Close Down Period. Click OK and then click OK again.
Repeat the previous steps for each day your office will be closed.
In order to Remove a non possible working day, click to highlight the day you wish to remove the non possible day and click the 'Restore' button.
You will now see the tick has disappeared from the Non-possible column
