Contact Roles

Page Index

Overview

Contact roles are used to control security and access throughout all of the platform applications. There are two types of roles within the platform;

  1. Standard platform roles. You can tell when a role is standard as its owner is shown as Perspective Platform.

  2. Platform licensee-specific roles. Each platform licensee can create its own set of roles. These can be used in certain areas of the platform, such as Onsite Safety and DMS, to give additional levels of control over access and security.
