Creating a WIP Report Template

This page shows how to amend the report templates to restrict what is shown. 

Running the report without any criteria returns a lot of information. 


Now lets say that we want to see the information for a specific broker. You select Field #594


  1. Select Client.
  2. Click on Broker/Team.
  3. Click on on Client Broker (select).
  4. Click on the >> button to move it to required criteria.
  5. Select the broker you wish to restrict the report to.
  6. Click on OK.


If we run the report again we can see a significant drop in the size of the report.


Now we want to remove a WIP stage as we do not want to see those applications at the Pre-Application stage.



  1. Expand the Application group.
  2. Click on Stage/Status.
  3. Click on Application Stage.
  4. Click on the >> button to move the field to the Required Criteria.
  5. Click on Not Equal to.
  6. Click on Pre-Application.
  7. Click on OK.

Now repeat the above process for those applications that are at the Awaiting Completion stage. Your Required Criteria will look as follows;


It will include applications that are active, not quotes, for those clients whose broker is Jay Martin. It will only include them if the Application Stage is not equal to Pre-Application or Awaiting Completion.


Saving the report

If you have made changes that you wish to keep you can save the report.

  1. Click on the Advanced tab.
  2. If required you can edit the title and description.
  3. Click on Save.
  4. If you want to create a new report click on Yes. If you want to overwrite the current report click on No.
