The Personal Work Flow Analysis screen is used to assist in the analysis and management of the work flow. Specific criteria is set up in the form of tests, which are allocated to users.
The analysis is set up, using the stages, roles, user and allocated tests. This is then conducted, resulting in a list of jobs that meet the selected criteria. This list not only identifies the jobs that require attention at the time the work flow analysis is performed but also indicates the number of days the activities are overdue.
Procedures
Setting Up Work Flow Analysis
This is used to select the criteria for a work flow analysis.
Click Setup. The Work Flow Analysis Setup dialog will be displayed.
Update the details as required to suit the tests that need to be actioned/analysed.
Criteria - Major Stage - Select from the list e.g: Administration, Administration & Construction
Criteria - Minor Stage - Select from the list e.g: Tender, Contract, All Stages
Criteria - Staff Role - Select from the list e.g: Administrator, Colour Consultant
Note: Where there is a role that reads ‘All Key Roles’ this indicates there is more than 1 role grouped together.
Example: Estimator - All Key Estimating Roles includes both roles of Sales Estimator and Ordering Estimator.Criteria - Staff Member - Select Staff Member Name from the list
Criteria - Include Jobs On Hold? - Select from the list - Yes/No?
Test Results - Results to Include - Select from the list e.g: All Tests, Incomplete Tests Overdue
Analysis Tests - Tests To Perform - Select the Staff Members Name or All Tests
Click Close. The dialog will close however the setup information will be retained and used for any tests that are performed for the current session.
Removing A Work Flow Analysis
From the Work Flow Analysis list, select an analysis.
Click Remove. The work flow analysis will be removed.
Selecting A Client
From the Work Flow Analysis list, select an analysis that contains the client to be selected.
Click Select. The current job will change to be the client relevant to the follow up item. The context bar will be updated.
Clearing The Work Flow Analysis
This will remove all work flow analyses from the Work Flow Analysis list.
Click Clear. All work flow analysis will be removed from the Work Flow Analysis list.
Starting A Work Flow Analysis
Click Setup to select the required work flow analysis criteria, status, and test.
Click Start. The status bar displays the work flow progress and the screen will display the results of the selected test.
