Standard platform roles. You can tell when a role is standard as its owner is shown as Perspective Platform.
Platform licensee specific roles. Each platform licensee can create its own set of roles. These can be used in certain areas of the platform, such as Onsite Safety and Almirah, to give additional levels of control over access and security.

Roles for Customer Portal
Customers require the Customer Portal - Project Customer role to be able to log into the Customer Portal.
Staff required to support customers using the customer portal require the Customer Portal - User role.
Staff who maintain data used by the Customer Portal, such as workflows and resources, require the Customer Portal—System Administrator role.
Roles for DMS
To log into the DMS, users must have the DMS - User role.
To be able to work with e-Sign documents, users must have the DMS - eSign Management role.
Users must have the DMS—System Administrator role to add Document Structures, Document Types, and Generic Objects, maintain Contact Role permissions, browse objects, create sites, and work with Tags.

As a minimum, to check in to a site, a user must be registered on the Platform.

Roles for Onsite Safety
To log into Onsite Safety, users must have the Onsite Safety - User role.
Users must have the Onsite Safety—Onboarding Management role to access the onboarding functionality. For more information, refer to this article.
There are two types of Onsite Safety user bulletins. To receive these users must have the roles Onsite Safety - Subscription - User Bulletin (Weekly) and/or Onsite Safety - Subscription - User Bulletin (Monthly).
There are 3 level of incident. You can choose who should be notified of each level by giving them one or more of these 3 roles
Onsite Safety - Notification - Incident High Severity.
Onsite Safety - Notification - Incident Medium Severity.
Onsite Safety - Notification - Incident Low Severity.
