Overview

Note

To be able to Geocode Projects/Sites, the person doing so must have the role Onsite Eye - Permission - Geocode Projects/Sites.
To be able to allocate QR Codes onsite, the person doing so must have the role Onsite Eye - Resource Allocator.

Check Project

It is a good idea before visiting the project to check that it is available on the Platform.

Initial Geocoding

Often, there is no sign on the very first visit to a site, but you may wish to record the geocoding coordinates. The steps below show how to do the initial geocoding.

  1. In My Sites, search for the site.

  2. Click on the site then select Record Activity.

  3. Select the activity Site - Geocode Project/Site.

  4. Click Save.

Allocating a Sign to a Project

Allocating a sign to a project is a very simple process.

  1. When you arrive on-site, scan the QR code on the sign. You will then be able to search for the site.

    If the site has been geocoded and you select Locate Site, it should be returned.

  2. Select the site, then click Allocate QR Code.

  3. Select the date that the sign was allocated.

  4. You will then be checked in to the site.
