Delay claims are processed against a job, for the delays recorded in the Delays screen.

When claiming a delay for contracts that states working days you are unable to claim weekends, therefore if you need to raise a delay claim from a Thursday through to Tuesday, you will need to process 2 individual claims (one being for Thursday and Friday, the other being for Monday and Tuesday. If your contract states calendar days you can process one delay claim to include weekends.


 

Opening The Delay Claims Screen

Click the Production menu and select Construction then Delay Claims.


TIP

From the sidebar, select Construction then Delay Claims.


Creating A Delay Claim

1. Click New. The General tab of the Delay Claims dialog will be displayed.

2. Enter the details.

3. Select the Delays tab.

4. Add any delays.

5. Select the Notes tab.

6. Enter any notes, if required.

7. Click OK. The dialog will close a new delay claim will be processed.
