Delay Claims Management
Delay claims are processed against a job, for the delays recorded in the Delays screen.
When claiming a delay for contracts that state working days you must not claim weekends, therefore if you need to raise a delay claim from Thursday through to Tuesday, you will need to process 2 individual claims (one being for Thursday and Friday, the other being for Monday and Tuesday). If your contract states calendar days you can process one delay claim to include weekends.
Opening The Delay Claims Screen
Click the Production menu and select Construction then Delay Claims.
TIP
From the sidebar, select Construction then Delay Claims.
Creating A Delay Claim
1. Click New. The General tab of the Delay Claims dialog will be displayed.
2. Enter the details such as the Applicable From/To dates, whether to open a claim (yes/no).
3. Select the Delays tab.
4. Add any delays using the + button along the top bar, and select any applicable delays that relate to this delay claim.
5. Select the Notes tab.
6. Enter any notes, if required.
7. Click OK. The dialog will close a new delay claim will be processed.
