Issues with mapped drives in Windows 10
Issues with mapped drives in Windows 10
Problem
Occasionally, you may come across an issue in TFS where you are unable to see mapped network drives from the Help>Configuration area.
The most common symptom of this problem is that the user is unable to run reports that are located on the TFS Drive.
Solution
- Run Regedit32.exe
- Navigate to Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System
- Add a DWORD (32bit)
- New DWORD should be named EnableLinkedConnections
- Edit the Value = 1
- Disconnect Mapped drive
- Reboot PC
- Reconnect mapped drive
