The following guide is designed to upgrade Framework ECM and the associated Framework ECM database in a Domain environment.

The Domain upgrade comprises two separate procedures: 

Server Upgrade The server's installation requirements are designed to allow client workstations access to the Framework ECM database (which is installed on the server).

The server installation MUST only be performed once

Client Upgrade Client (otherwise known as workstation) upgrades require the previous version of Framework ECM to be uninstalled and the new version to be installed.

The client/workstation upgrade MUST be performed for each client running Framework ECM
