The Linked Files screen allows users to save documents to folders outside of Framework ECM. By saving documents that relate to a particular job under these folders then linking them, users of Framework ECM and Framework Logistics Tablet can view these documents from within the software.
Once the functionality is activated, all new jobs that are created will automatically have job linked files folders created, as per the template folder structure in the job files folder of Framework ECM.

Procedures
Uploading A Linked File
- Click Upload.
- Select the file(s) from the LAN structure.
- Click Open. The dialog will close and a linked file will be added.
Exploring Linked Files
- Click Explore
- The local Explorer window will open and changes can be made, such as moving files around, re-naming, etc.
- Exit from the Explorer window when done.

- Click New. The Linked Files dialog will be displayed.
- Select the Linked File Category
- Enter the details.
- Click OK. The dialog will close and a linked file will be added.
