Procedures

Creating An SMS Message

SMS messages can be sent to custom recipients, client contacts, or Framework ECM entities. SMS messages can only be created to send, and then viewed. To maintain data integrity, sent SMS messages cannot be deleted.

SMS messages sent by the system are a one-way transmission only. There is no reply available to SMS messages sent in this way.

  1. Click New. The New SMS dialog will be displayed.
  2. Enter the details.
  3. Click OK. The dialog will close and an SMS will be sent.
