Overview

This article explains how you can use Onsite Inspect for non-build projects such as;

  • Company vehicles.

  • Apprentices.

  • Work experience staff.

This article assumes you have an understanding of the DMS and does not go into extensive detail on the individual actions.

Create a Structure

Log into the DMS as a System Administrator, go to Administration > Document Structures and select Add Document Structure.

Add the Document Structure and the folders required.

Create a Document Type

Add a Document Type that belongs to the new structure

Add a DMS Automation

Within the Inspection Template add a DMS Automation to add the inspection to the new Document Type.

Create a Project

Refer to this article for instructions on adding a project within Onsite Inspect.

In Platform ensure the project is linked to a Document Site.

When your project has been created and you have enabled it for Document Management you can add the inspection to the project.

When the inspection is submitted in the example automation set up the document is added to the DMS.

In the DMS when you browse to the project you can see the inspection report has been added.
