Perspective Platform Resource Centre

This article shows how to merge contacts.

You cannot merge real contacts.

This is done from the Platform. You need to be in the Platform - Manage Organisation Contacts role, to do this.

Instructions

  1. Change your perspective to Platform - Manage Organisation Contacts.

  2. Search for the Contacts that you want to merge.

  3. Select the Contact that you want to merge the other one into.

  4. Click Merge Duplicates and search for the contact that you want to merge into the source.

  5. When you click the radio button next to the contact you will be able to compare the two contacts and if applicable choose the roles that you want to transfer.


    When you click Merge you will see a message advising you of the success of the merge.

  6. Now the Destination Contact will have the roles that you copied.
