The Specification Template screen is used to manage templates to be used for specification selection documents. Specification templates are made up of a number of groups and items that will be used in Framework's specification selection screens for processes.

Example

Colour, Electrical, Tile Selections, etc.

Procedures

Creating A Specification Management Template Group

  1. From the Groups list, select a specification management group.
  2. Click New. The Specification Template Management Group dialog will be displayed.
  3. Enter the details.
  4. Click OK. The dialog will close and a new group will be created.

Creating A Specification Template

  1. From the Groups list, select a specification management group. The Items list will be updated.
  2. Click New. The General tab of the Specification Template dialog will be displayed.
  3. Enter the details.
  4. Select the Structure tab.
  5. Enter the details.
  6. Click OK. The dialog will close and a new specification profile will be created.

The Copy button can be used to create a duplicate specification profile. From the Items list select the specification profile to be copied followed by the Copy button.
