PLATFORM RESOURCE CENTRE

Option - Resources > Projects

This section details the functionality available from the Resources > Projects area. It should be noted that projects can be manually added in this area though if you are using Framework and have Integration the projects and inspections should be created for you automatically.

 Searching for Projects

When you select Projects you will see a screen similar to the one shown above. The Search For option gives you a powerful search facility that will pattern match any of the display columns so you can type in any part of the Project, Location, Manager or Supervisor and the view will be filtered to show you matching projects.

 Adding a Project

When you click on the Add Project button you will be presented with the Add Project screen that is broken into two sections

The General Details section allows you to define information relating to the people related to the project and attach an image

The Location Details section allows you to define the location of the project.

It is a mandatory requirement to define the Timezone of the Project.

When you click Save you will be shown the Projects screen for your new project.

Adding an Inspection to a project

When a project is first added you will need to click on the + on the Inspections accordion to expand it to see the Add Inspection button

When you select Add Inspection the following screen is displayed.

If you select an Inspection Type that has templates associated with it (See Inspection Templates) you will be able to select it from the Template option,

The Name will be automatically populated with the type and template details though you can change this if desired.

You can define an Expiry for the inspection to advise when it is no longer valid. This feature is not yet supported

To be able to use the inspection on the mobile app you must assign it to an inspector. Click on the dropdown selector on Inspector and choose the inspector whom this is to be allocated to.

Inspectors are defined by having the platform role of Onsite Inspect - Inspector.

 Archiving a project

When a project has no active inspections on it you will see an archive option on the right-hand side of the Projects screen

When you click on the option you will see a message similar to the one below

You can still search for and view this project by selecting Include Archived Projects in your search
