The RMS Table Context screen displays the available tables and how they are applied to reporting. Table contexts are based on an RMS table and are the different types of a specific table.

Example 1: 
The system contains the RMS table addr. The RMS table contexts that are based on the original RMS table contexts include: 
- Client Address: addr^client
- Land Address: addr^land

Example 2:
The system contains the RMS table admin_dwgs. The RMS table contexts that are based on the original RMS table contexts include: 
- Administration Construction Drawings: admin_dwgs^cst
- Administration Final Drawings: admin_dwgs^final
- Detailed Drawings: admin_dwgs^detailed


RMS Table Context Dialog

Critical: Changes made to the RMS can significantly alter the underlying Framework ECM database. Please consult with Insula Software before making changes.

This dialog is used to create an RMS table context. Changes made to this area of the system will be overwritten when an upgrade is performed except for custom default values and customised label modifications.


General Group

Field

Description

Table

Physical name of the RMS table in the Framework ECM SQL database to which the RMS table context belongs. Click the Table popup button to select.

Name

Logical, or user friendly, name of the RMS table context.

Example:  
- The logical name of the report name alias admin_dwgs^cst table would beAdministration Construction Drawings.
- The logical name of the report name alias addr^client table would be Client Address.

Reference

Reference name given to the RMS table context. Click the Reference copy button to copy the RMS table context name or manually enter a reference name.

Report Name

Report, or alias table, name used in Crystal Reports.

Example: addr^client, admin_dwgs^cst, etc.

Has Field?

This field/function is currently disabled.

Order

Order number of the RMS table context. This number determines the order of the RMS Table Context list on the RMS Table Context screen (see RMS Table Context).

Notes Group

Free text area for notes regarding the RMS table context.
