The following guide is designed to upgrade Framework ECM and the associated Framework ECM database in a Domain environment.
The Domain upgrade comprises two separate procedures:
- Server Upgrade Overview: The server's installation requirements are designed to allow client workstations access to the Framework ECM database (which is installed on the server).
Important: The server installation MUST only be performed once. - Client Upgrade Overview: Client (otherwise known as workstation) upgrades require the previous version of Framework ECM to be uninstalled and the new version to be installed.
Important: The client/workstation upgrade MUST be performed for each client running Framework ECM.
