When configuring logistics tablet (desktop), you may run into the following error message:


Solution:


Firstly, you will need to check your DSN settings to ensure you have not pointed two different DSN's to the same database.

You can check that within your ODBC within the following tabs:


Next, you need to ensure that the database itself has the correct permissions to enable users to access it.


Go into Program Files\Insula Software\Logistics Tablet\Bin.

On the Fworktablet.exe, send a shortcut to the desktop.

Update the properties of the shortcut to include the following after the .exe " -skipHostValidation

e.g.

The -skipHostValidation is case sensitive so ensure that it is entered correctly.

Always ensure you are using the correct version of ODBC.
