The Item Count tab is used to select the content displayed on the Day Diary, Month Diary, and Year Diary screens. It includes three lists from which multiple selections may be made. These lists may be customised to modify the number of diary entries displayed.

The Day Shading tab is used to filter the records displayed on the Day Diary (see Day Diary) , Month Diary (see Month Diary), and Year Diary (see Year Diary) screensDiary screens.
It also includes a diary legend, which is used as a guideline to the colours used on the month and year views to identify the diary entries scheduled for each day.

Show Restriction Items? | Will the diary screens display restriction diary entries? Restricted items are those created to restrict the availability of a particular staff member on a a particular day.

Diary Legend Group
Field | Description |

| Day from the previous/next month. |
| Normal day. |
| Current day. |
| Day on which a diary item concerns the currently selected client. |
| Day on which the currently selected client is unavailable. |
| Day on which the specified staff member is unavailable. |
| Day that has been made unavailable for all staff. |
| Left bottom blue number indicates the number of diary entries for the day. |
