The General tab is used to enter basic details about a Framework ECM user, such as their login name and password.

General Group

Field

Description

Staff

Staff member entity name. A user must be linked to a Staff Member entity. If the entity does not exist, it can be created from this dialog.

User Name

User name for the staff member to login to Framework applications.

Example: A common format for a login name is to use first initial and surname; such as tsmith, awilson, etc.

Name

Name that will represent the user when logged in to Framework applications.

Example: The name appears as the creator of Comments, Messages, or Alerts.

User Group

User group applied to the user.

Example: Administrator, Management, Maintenance, Colour Selection, etc.

Super User?

Is the user a super user?

  • No (Default) 
  • Yes 

Note: Super User status should only be applied to those responsible for system administration. All other users should be able to have security permission restrictions applied.

Override Grp Sec Level?

Does the user override the group security level? 

  • No (Default)

Level

Security Level applied to the user

Override Same Level?

Can the user edit a job belonging to another user in the same level as them?

Initial Licence

The licence that will be used when the user first logs in.

Example: If the user works predominantly in Work Flow areas, the Work Flow Management licence may be the most appropriate to allocate. Once the user accesses another licensed area of the system, such as Diary or Construction Logistics, they will automatically use one of those licences.

CRM Tools Group

Team

Team that will be allocated to a CRM record the user creates.

Method

Default method that will be applied to a CRM record the user creates.

Staff Role allocated to the jobs to be considered for the user's tests.

Staff Member

Staff Member allocated to the jobs to be considered for the user's tests.

Results To Include

Type of test to be applied for the user. These are based on elements such as whether the tasks are completed or not, due to be completed, or have exceeded the allowed duration.

Example: All Tests, All Completed Tests, All Incomplete Tests, Incomplete Tests Overdue, and All Future Tests.

Tests To Perform

Work flow tests are allocated to a staff member. Click the Tests To Perform drop-down button to select the staff member whose tests are to be considered for the user.
