Logistics Activity Colour Coding

The colour coding of construction activities has been introduced in Construction Logistics.

Colour coding allows a builder to attach specific meaning to construction activities, and for this to be visible to all users across all Framework Logistics applications.
eg. You may wish to nominate and visually separate activities that are to be updated by supervisors in the field or by office-based staff.

The number of colours available is extensive, and they can be used for any desired purpose. Your team must be trained in your colour coding/meaning to ensure the chosen colours are understood and interpreted correctly.

The sync history screen has been improved

A new column has been added to the far right of the list: "Duration" - this shows the sync duration in hours and minutes as "00hrs 00mins" - this only populates if the Result was a Success and there is a start date/time and complete date/time

New filters are added to the top of the MDI, under a "Filter" field group: - "Profile" (all or a selected Profile) - "Result" filter (all or a selected Result) - list results should be filtered by these selections - these should be remembered when returning to this MDI - there should be simple clear buttons to return the selection to "All"

Improved predecessor behaviour

Improvement

Improvements have been made to save on time for Logistics Projects.

Previously when adding a predessor the activity defaulted to #1 each time. It now defaults to the previous item.

Logistics CC Weighting

New

There is new content to manage Cost Centre Weightings of activities for advanced financial WIP solutions we implement.

A new field has been added to the tables: cstL_activity, cstL_tItem Field: b_ccWeighting

  1. This has been added to the activity and template item dialogs as "WIP CC Weighting" after the Cost Centre Code,

  2. When an activity is selected in a template item, the CC Weighting value is copied to the template item from the activity. It can then be changed by the user if desired.

  3. When a template is copied that the CC Weighting values are also copied.
