Working with the Macquarie Apigee system

This article explains the rules that Macquarie impose when submitting deals electronically to their new Apigee system.

Supported Applicant and Application Types

The table below shows the types of application and applicants that the Macquarie Apigee system accepts.

Assets and Liabilities

The Apigee system only supports a specific group of assets and liabilities. The tables below show the available types.

The Primary Income record should be added by completing an employment record for the contact.

In addition to the Liabilities, you can also define a contacts expenses. 

Address Requirements

You will need to supply full addresses for the following entities;

Private Sale

Phone Number Requirements

When entering landline numbers they must include the state code and no spaces e.g 0385744800.

When entering mobile numbers they must not have any spaces e.g 0491570156.

If they are not entered in this format the submission will be rejected.

Supported Application Goods Types and Rules

When adding goods records to an application they must be from one of the types and categories listed below. All of them belong to one of two asset types which are Plant & Equipment or Motor Vehicle.

e.g. 

The table below shows the Asset Type and Asset Category options that you can select on applications that you want to submit to the Macquarie Apigee system. It also details the finance types you can use them as well as minimum and maximums on terms and amounts

CM = SSA
C = Consumer loan (Not supported from TFS)
R = Rental (Not supported via electronic submission to Apigee.)
N = Novated Lease

Sale Type

This is a new mandatory requirement that must specify for every transaction that you are submitting to Macquarie. This is done by setting the Purpose field in the New Application or Application Overview screen. Use the Filter by Financier option to quickly see the codes that are available.

1. Click on the .
2. Select Filter by Finacier - Macquarie.
3. Select the relevant type,
4. Click on OK.

It can be one of the following values only;

• Dealer with ABN
• Private no ABN
• Private with ABN
• Refinance Macq
• Refinance
• Sale and  Buyback

Individual Rules

When submitting deals that include the following;

• Individual applicant.
• Individual guarantor
• Business_person
• Individual trustee
• Individual partner

The following rules apply.

Employment Details Rules

Specific points that must be observed.

TFS Information	Apigee Rule
ABN	The ABN of the company the individual works at must be provided when The finance type is Specific Security Agreement   and sole trader value is “YES”  The finance type is Novated Lease.
Employer name	The name of the current employer of the person must be provided if the employment type is ; Casual. Full Time. Part Time
Business Activity	This must be provided when the finance type is Specific Security Agreement and Is Sole Trader is Yes
Employment type	Must be one of the following values; Casual Casual Part Time Full Time Part Time Self employed Pensioner
Previous employer name	The name of the previous employer. Need to be provided if the individual has been with the current employer for less than 2 years.
Previous years employed	Must be provided if the individual has been with the current employer for less than 2 years.
Employer address	Must be provided when employment types is; Casual Casual Part Time Full Time Part Time
