The Integration Profile dialog contains configuration options for creating an integration profile.



Integration Group

Field

Description

Type

The type of integration. Click the popup button to select the Integration Type. 

There is currently only one integration type: MYOB.

Profile Group

Field

Description

Name

The name of the profile. This should reflect what the profile does.

Examples:
- MYOB - Insert Single Client
- MYOB - Integrate [context name]

Number

An automatically generated integration profile number.

Integration DSN's Group

Field

Description

TFS

The TFS ODBC DSN database name.

MYOB

The MYOB ODBC DSN database name. Click the MYOB popup button to open and select the MYOB database.

MYOB Connection

A connection string used when connecting to the MYOB ODBC DSN.

Typically this field is left blank.

Criteria Group

Field

Description

Yield in Milliseconds

Determines the pause period (in milliseconds) in which the system's CPU can proceed with other tasks. One second equals 1000 milliseconds.

Example: 
- High Yield: Slower integration but more CPU time for the server's other tasks.
- Low Yield: Faster integration but less CPU time for the server's other tasks.

Criteria Method

The TFS Clients that will be selected to integrate into MYOB. Click the Criteria Method popup button to select the criteria method.

Toggle: 

  • All Clients: Selects all clients.
  • Single Client: Selects a single client.

Criteria

Enter a client number of the client to be integrated. Click the popup button to open the Search dialog.

The Criteria field can only be entered if the Criteria Method is set to Single Client.

Context

Select which Context the integration applies to. Click the Context popup button to select the context.

Only Integrate New?

Toggle to select whether integration occurs for all clients or new clients only. This affects the length of time the integration takes. The more clients being integrated the longer the process takes.

Email Options Group

After integration has been completed a log file is created. This log file can be automatically emailed upon completing integration.

To add multiple recipients, include a semi-colon (;) between entries followed by a 'space'.

Example: acme@acme.com.au; owner@acme.com.au

Field

Description

To

Enter the email addresses of staff who will receive the integration log email upon completion.

CC

Enter the email addresses of staff who will receive a CC (Carbon Copy) of the integration log email upon completion.

BCC

Enter the email addresses of staff who will receive a BCC (Blind Carbon Copy) of the integration log email upon completion.

Subject

Enter the subject heading of the integration email.


To create a From email address, open the Preferences screen in the TFS Administration Tool: Preference #152 (SMTP Sender Email Address) in the TFS Main Program > Settings > Email Preference Group.
