Emailing Marketing to Clients
Marketing directly to clients via email allows marketing to be immediate. Please refer to the detailed information in the preceding chapters for details on performing each step.
To perform an email to clients, there must be Email Templates created using the TFS Administration Tool. Please see the Appendix for more information.
- Open the Campaign screen.
- Create a new Campaign.
- Create a new Campaign Run.
- Enter a meaningful name and the Scheduled date for when this campaign will be run.
- Open the Stream screen.
- Create a new Stream.
- Enter the external marketing company's details, if required.
- Click on the Output tab.
- Change the Target to Clients & Prospects.
- Choose Email as the Format.
- From the Email Template field, click the popup button () and select the required email template.
- If there are attachments to send with the email, click the New button ().
- Create a new Stream.
- Open Criteria screen.
- Select the criteria needed to choose which clients to include in the email.
- Click the Run Stream button when the criteria has been finalised.
- After running the stream, the Review screen will be displayed. Deselecting clients from the marketing campaign can be done on this screen.
- Click the Finalise button.
- The Email will be sent immediately.
Enter any costs involved in the marketing campaign into the Stream Run record that has just been created.
Modify the Campaign Run record and set the status to finalised if this particular marketing campaign is complete.
