Example - Save a Modified Report

The following example details how to find all applications that have settled for a particular financier based on a particular broker in date order. It will use the Settlement report.

Open the Report Overview Screen

  1. From the File menu, select Reports.
  2. Select the Reports tab.
  3. From the Category drop-down list, select Work In Progress Reports.
  4. From the Reports list, select report #11: Settlements.
  5. Click the Preview or Print button. The Standard Criteria dialog will be displayed.

Field Criteria Tab (Adding Required Criteria)

  1. From the Groups list, expand ApplicationFinancier. The Fields list will update.
  2. From the Fields list, select #24: Financier Entity (select).
  3. Click the Add Criteria button. The Field Criteria dialog will be displayed.
  4. Click the Equal to... radio button.
  5. Select a financier from the Company Name list.
    • Example: Macquarie Leasing Pty Ltd
  6. Click the OK button. The Financier Entity (select) will now appear in the Required Criteria list.

Field Criteria Tab (Adding Optional Criteria By Group)

  1. Select the Optional Criteria By Group list. A shadow will appear around the list.
  2. From the Optional Criteria By Group drop-down list, select Optional Criteria Group 1.
  3. From the Groups list, select ApplicationBroker Team. The Fields list will update.
  4. From the Fields list, select #7: Application Broker (select).
  5. Click the Add Criteria button. The Field Criteria dialog will be displayed.
  6. Click the Equal to... radio button.
  7. Select a broker from the Broker list.
  8. Click the OK button. The Application Broker (select) will now appear in the Optional Criteria By Group list.
  9. From the Optional Criteria By Group drop-down list, select Optional Criteria Group 2.
  10. Click the Add Criteria button. The Field Criteria dialog will be displayed.
  11. Click the Equal to... radio button.
  12. Select a different broker from the Broker list.
  13. Click the OK button. The Application Broker (select) will now appear in the Optional Criteria By Group list.

Groups Tab

  1. Select the Groups tab.
  2. From the Groups list, expand ApplicationBroker Team. The Fields list will update.
  3. From the Fields list, select #157: Application - Broker Name.
  4. Click the Add Field button. The current group will be replaced by Application - Broker Name.

Sort Tab

  1. Select the Sort tab.
  2. From the Groups list, expand ApplicationWork Flow. The Fields list will update.
  3. From the Fields list, select #88: Application - Settlement Actual.
  4. Click the Add Field button. The Sort Fields list will update.

Advanced Tab

  1. Click the Advanced tab.
  2. Edit the following fields (these fields are displayed on the report):
    • Title
    • Description
  3. If saving the report for future use, click the Save button. The Save Report prompt will appear.
  4. Click the Yes button to save as a new report.
    OR
    Click the Cancel button to cancel the process.
  5. Click the OK button to Print or Preview the report (see Step 5).
