Comments
The Comments screen is used to track comments relevant to a client or an application.
TFS will automatically create comments when users:
- Enter internal notes into a quote,
- Create a comment when doing a mail merge, or
- Enter a comment via the Comments screen (described below).
The Comments screen can be sorted in a number of ways. To change this choose the view you require from the Select View drop-down
- All Applications: all comments relating to the selected clients applications will be shown.
- Client and All Applications: all comments relating to the selected client and all comments relating to the selected clients applications will be shown.
- Client and Current Application Only: all comments relating to the selected client and all comments relating to the selected application will be shown.
- Current Application Only: all comments relating to the selected application will be shown.
- Client Only: all comments relating to the selected client will be shown.
IMPORTANT CONCEPTS
- Generic Client Comment?: Toggles whether the comment is linked to the client (Yes) or the current application (No).
- Include in Reporting?: Toggle to display comments in reports.
- Make an Alert?: Toggle if the comment will also be made into an alert.
- Mark for Follow Up?: Toggle if the comment will also be a item to be followed up.
