Some of the preferences listed here are only available in TFS Version 13 or higher

Enable client folder management?

Yes: Whenever a client or application is created, a folder for that client and/or application is created to store files in.
No (default): Folder management will be a manual process. The user decides where the files will be stored.

Application numbering method

Globally Unique (default): Each application number is unique.
Client Non-Unique: Each application number is unique within the client only (i.e., client number 13 may have application numbers 1, 2, 3, 4, etc. whilst client number 14 may also have application numbers 1, 2, 3, 4, etc.).
Client Unique: Each application number is unique because it includes the client number (i.e., 13-1, 13-2 where the Client Number precedes the Application Number).

Note: If the Application Type is mortgage then the above screens will change to reflect the changes to mortgage for that individual application.

Alphabetical: All client folders will be grouped alphabetically based on the Report/Search Name. If the client name begins with a number, they will be stored under a 0-9 folder. If the client name begins with another character, they will be stored under an [Other] folder.
Numeric: All client folders will be grouped into number ranges based on the client number.
